Bonga in School

Bonga in School Programme

Bonga in School is a participatory dialogue programme implemented within the school environment by Maasai Pastoralist Devote Initiatives (MPDI). The programme focuses on empowering pupils in upper primary classes, particularly those in Standard Four to Standard Seven.

The initiative provides a platform where pupils can learn and discuss important social issues affecting their lives, while also developing essential life skills. Through guided discussions, group activities, and interactive learning methods, students gain knowledge on topics such as personal development, health and hygiene, gender equality, and child rights.

Bonga in School encourages pupils to express their thoughts, build confidence, and strengthen their communication skills. By creating a safe space for dialogue, the programme helps children better understand their challenges and become more active participants in their own education and personal growth.

Through this approach, MPDI promotes self-confidence, awareness, and leadership among pupils, helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed to make positive decisions and contribute to their communities.
