Empowering Youth Through Skills and Opportunity

Many young people in pastoralist communities face limited opportunities for education and employment. Without access to skills training, many youth struggle to find sustainable sources of income.

MPDI addresses this challenge through youth empowerment programs such as the BONGA Adolescent Empowerment Programme and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). These initiatives equip young people with life skills, literacy, and vocational training that prepare them for employment or self-employment.

Participants learn practical skills such as entrepreneurship, financial management, and vocational trades that can help them build independent livelihoods.

Through these programs, MPDI helps young people gain confidence, improve their economic prospects, and become active contributors to their communities.
